Dr. Jeronimo Tenorio graduated from medical school in the Philippines. He has been a practicing doctor for over 20 years, and has treated patients in the Philippines, Canada, and the United States. He credits his sensitive medical intuition to the years he spent in Canada as a doctor in the ER.
Norma Tenorio graduated from nursing school in Canada. She has worked in a hospital setting in all areas of acute care, including cardiac, surgical and intensive care units. For five years she supervised a large nursing home, and was privileged to learn every aspect of the 420 bed facility. She brings that expertise to Oililua ElderCare, the personal care home they founded fourteen years ago.
At Oililua ElderCare, we accept both male and female residents, as well as couples. We offer a peaceful, home-like atmosphere and loving care. We are proud to say that our residents are like our extended family, and treated as such. We select our staff not only for the high quality care. They provide, but also for their positive, caring attitude toward the residents.
A barber/beautician is readily available, and baths are given daily. Residents are also treated to free manicures and other pampering. Our rates include three nutritious meals daily plus snacks, laundry and housekeeping services, medication administration, and assistance with personal care and daily routines as needed.
Stimulating social activities are provided, including an exercise program, daily newspaper, games, walks, and much more.
Oililua ElderCare, Inc. is a personal care home licensed for extended care. We offer assisted living in a tropical setting. We are fully equipped to care for those with varying forms of dementia such as Alzheimer's disease. We also provide hospice and respite care.
Care and love are our top priorities. Residents are often paired one-on-one with our caregivers, which makes for an intimate, family environment. Our caregivers are highly qualified and receive ongoing education with refresher courses and in-services in order to remain up-to-date on the latest medical advances.
Our home is surrounded by beautiful gardens, as well as an open space for relaxing by the pond. The interior also carries the tropical theme, so wherever you are, you'll feel relaxed and close to nature.
