Weland Gardens at Sunset Park Place is our Memory Care program. It provides specialized Alzheimer’s and dementia care programming as well as assistance with the activities of daily living. Our Sunset Park Place Memory Care community offers a caring staff of experts who are on hand 24 hours a day to offer your loved one the care and support they need to thrive. The community is secured for our residents’ safety, so your loved one can experience a greater sense of independence. In addition to sharing all the services and amenities provided to our Assisted Living residents, members of our Memory Care community receive regular reminders, close supervision, and safety monitoring. They also receive specialized coaching focused on helping them maintain everyday living skills, so they can remain independent longer.

Respite Care at Sunset Park Place offers all the benefits of Assisted Living and Memory Care but is tailored to your stay. Whether you are staying with us for a couple of days or a couple of weeks, you will enjoy all the amenities and services of our full-time residents. This type of short-term care is ideal for providing follow-up for seniors after an illness or surgery or to provide short-term coverage for a senior whose regular caregiver needs to leave town. Respite Care can also be a great way to get a feel for life at our community before making a rental commitment.
