I love bridgeway from the first time we came here it's just wonderful I can't say enough about it I've lived here at bridgeway for ten and a half years when I moved here it felt like I was moving into a new neighborhood the residence at bridgeway share certain fundamental values and they come here and they enjoy a life of socialization and unity they become an extended family very of Ridgeway is really refined like friendliness we're small enough that we know everybody here I have more friends here and I had living in my neighborhood for 55 years this is what defines a community when individuals they get together and they don't change their lives they enhance it they make it better my friends and family looked upon my decision to move to bridgeway as a move too confining my life instead it has freed me up to travel to do things that I want to do and not be burdened with taking care of my house be burdened with taking care of being sure all these bills were paid so that has been a plus for me they get to enjoy two meals in elaborate breakfast and dinner which is freshly made every day by by ourselves you know with great desserts every evening the menu is extensive and I always find something good to eat the activities planned bridgeway by both the residents and the staff are outstanding there are lots of things to do i'm on the resident council i'm on the lifestyles I'm active in church I have a choir here I'm 88 years old and I've leg choirs all my life and I still have a choir here and it's like can i play the organ bridgeway has been great for me my mom and my parents as a whole about the same time that they moved in here my in-laws moved into a condo and that has been a real challenge for us as they haven't been able to take care of themselves we've had to be concerned about them falling and no one knowing here at bridgeway I love the fact that they put their their cats out and someone checks on them every morning and I've even called a few times to the front desk wondering where my mom is and they've helped me know where she is so it's just been very comforting as a child to know where your parents are they have all levels of care people could move in here who are very mobile and have a large life outside but then when the time comes that they need more care they can easily move into the other care facilities we do have the assisted living that provides three levels of care where you have standby gear care with assistance and then also care with more specific needs if they require more medical care more medical attention we have 200 residents you know over the health care center great and dedicated staff devoted to provide the care it was wonderful when my father got ill to be able to be across the parking lot for my mother it was it was just great I find the lifestyle bridgeway very affordable and without those extra expenses comparatively speaking they don't have to maintain a home they don't have to pay insurance they don't have to worry about utilities that 24-hour security my finances are in a very nice package I pay one monthly fee I know what that fee is going to be every month like everybody else I have to be a little careful with my money but it is very affordable it works for us this was probably one of the wisest decisions I've ever made my lifetime it's given me a very full life in the ten years that I've lived here you don't have to cook or clean think about that you just live and enjoy your life feel very comfortable here and I talked to a woman this morning with 99 she said I only want to be here this is my home so that's how you're getting to feel that this is your home you
