when I first came to town riverside was only two stories high and where we are right now was nothing but trees and woods and cornfields when I came to work at the hospital it was a small Hospital there were three operating rooms and a sister room and in the recovery room they had four beds and two cribs it has changed dramatically I have little little ideas I would ever be in a building like this for all the buildings that we have at riverside now that are so tremendous and I'm so proud of it to think that I had part of that to start my life led me to senior living because I think God had a bigger journey and a bigger story for me i would say i didn't find senior living senior living found me it wasn't in my original plan of career path but once it began I never looked back residents become family these residents touch our lives every single day it's an honor and a privilege to be with them through every step of that journey it is a tremendous opportunity that we as an organization have been able to serve our community for 25 years and in turn the community has allowed us to serve them and I think that says more about who we are as an organization and what we foster in regards to our culture and what our mission and what our values are with every move in my personal family grows and it's just been an incredible experience for me and my family it just feels like an amazing place where everyone does the right thing for the residents I can't pick one moment that I've worked here that doesn't stand out when you have the opportunity to get up every day put your feet on the floor and live your passion it's not a job it's fun I can't imagine doing anything else it's just an exciting time for Riverside that we were able to provide this for the community for 25 years and today this is home to me I've been here for 14 years now and I loved it from day one I have a bunch of good friends and neighbors that live out here we get along well we take care of each other it's it's a nice community and the people are nice so that's a big plus I'm so proud to be the chief nursing officer Riverside health care and to be part of such a great organization I'm so proud to work for an organization that's been so innovated and so ahead of the game and everything that we intend to do we will continue to be that visionary leader that will offer something for those people that are so deserving everybody I remember the team impacts that person and touches their lives in so many ways and at the end of the day when you know that you did something just to make them feel a little bit better or to celebrate their life or to discover something new you know their journey is as positive as it can be that you will impact that with you know just the kind of touch it has been amazing to see the growth that has happened here on this campus my vision for Riverside Senior Living is that we will continue to grow that we will be able to continue to reach out and touch millions of lives we're a leader in the industry and it is amazing to be part of this journey with them we are encouraged by the continued vision and the degree of governance that the Riverside system has displayed congratulations it's wonderful to be a part of this and to see senior life communities grow and develop and I would like to congratulate to riverside on his 25th anniversary for the establishment and the continuation of westwood Oaks so best of luck happy 25th anniversary happy 25th year anniversary happy anniversary happy 20 25th anniversary to everyone happy 25th anniversary happy 25th anniversary and a happy anniversary Riverside
