Our community provides top-level services for seniors living in Independent Living and Assisted Living. We re proud to provide senior living communities to families from Lake Barrington, Illinois. Our Independent Living offers seniors an inviting place to call home. We take care of maintenance and housekeeping, which gives our seniors more time to do what they love. Our Assisted Living neighborhood allows residents to receive personal care, along with additional help with daily chores. Our staff assists with bathing, dressing and personal hygiene. Both levels of care have access to our beautiful community rooms, amenities and activities. Our community creates an experience that our residents love.

We love the elegant, modern feel of our recently renovated community’s atmosphere. Residents often start their day out on our beautiful patio, sipping coffee and taking in the beautiful view. In addition to our fitness center, our heated indoor pool provides the perfect place to stay active for residents. Our community also offers indoor parking, a library with a fireplace, billiards room, art studio, and much more. In addition to beautiful common areas, residents also enjoy the luxury of their private apartment homes.

Our residents enjoy restaurant-style service in our upscale dining room as our hospitality staff waits on them. Our culinary team works with residents to understand their varied nutritional needs, creating meal options that everyone will love.

We provide options for room service for when our residents want a quiet lunch or dinner in. We also love to cater birthdays and other celebrations in our private dining room, available to our residents for private use.

Many of our residents choose Lake Barrington Woods to help when recovering from an illness, fall, or surgery. Others choose us because they can benefit from routine therapy to maintain their skills. We provide opportunities for our residents to receive physical, speech, and occupational therapy in our community within a well-equipped, dedicated therapy space. We also have physicians that regularly check-in on our residents to ensure they are living well in our community.

Activities

Our vibrant activity calendar provides our residents with more light, laughter, and entertainment in their days. We do our best to include the interests, hobbies, and passions of our residents. We are also happy to take suggestions from all residents.

Staying Fit and Active

We encourage our residents to find an activity they love to keep them healthy. We provide daily opportunities like water aerobics, walking clubs, and modified exercise classes. Our residents love to stay active with our community’s Wii, and Wii bowling is the biggest hit of them all!

More Fun to Be Had

Between ice cream socials, happy hours, live music from community artists, and trips out on the town, our residents know how to have a great time. We also host activities to engage their hobbies. Some of which includes knitting, book clubs, and our always popular pet therapy is still a perennial favorite.
