Before entering our retirement home, there are a few things that should be considered: you or your loved one must be at least 55 years-old, capable of communicating any needs, and test negative for TB. Although our assisted living staff will happily give you friendly reminders, they will not administer medications, so it’s important that you or your family member is capable of taking your own medication. Any resident who enters our senior living home shouldn’t be at risk of elopement or causing physical or mental harm to themselves or anyone else. Lastly, we require our residents to be able to move to a safe area in the case of an emergency without the help of more than one staff member.
