Since our doors opened in 2000, the Sunrise of Willowbrook team has taken pride in providing exceptional care that is personalized for each resident’s needs and preferences. Our 24-hour care team is compassionate and experienced; many have been serving our residents for more than a decade, and several have received the national Joy in Service Award.
Our activity program is vibrant and varied; poker, Pokeno, trivia, and sing-alongs are among our residents’ favorite activities. We take pride in being active in our local Willowbrook community; for example, Lakeview Junior High students join us at our community each week and our residents visit St. Therese for rosary several times a month.
Like every Sunrise community, Sunrise of Willowbrook features an excellent, scratch-made dining program . Our team is led by chef Orion, and the menu includes a variety regional dishes, such as community favorite barbecue pork ribs.
At Sunrise of Willowbrook, our Dining team is passionate about the food they make and strive to meet all of our resident’s needs and preferences. Our menus are carefully designed to be not only delicious, but also nutritious and well balanced for senior diets.
Our community favorites include meat loaf, chicken and dumplings and meat ball soup all of which are frequently requested by our residents. Our Dining team is proud of our fresh selections, which are made from scratch and make sure to check in regularly with our residents to ensure they are enjoying their dining experience.
Although services and amenities vary slightly by location and care level, they typically include:
