Located in Carmel, Indiana, Sunrise on Old Meridian is a beautiful community with a quaint, intimate feel. Our care continuum allows residents to age in place, shifting as needed from an independent lifestyle , free from the worries of home ownership, to care-focused assisted living and memory support —all while remaining at home at Sunrise.
Our activities programming is vibrant and reflects the interests of our residents. In a typical week, you will enjoy live music during our socials, opportunities to volunteer at the local food pantry, outings to local events in the surrounding Carmel community, and chef-prepared meals , including our community favorite: barbecue ribs.
At Sunrise on Old Meridian, we are passionate about the food we make and strive to create a warm and inviting dining experience for our senior care residents. We believe food tastes better when the main ingredient is love, which is something our Dining team takes to heart!
Our residents look forward to monthly cooking demonstrations and a daily social hour which always has a fun theme, something our whole community gets excited about!
The outstanding residents at Sunrise on Old Meridian dedicate their time to the local community, and we have a strong relationship with Riley Children's Hospital—crocheting hats for infants in NICU; creating quilts for the Ronald McDonald House for children receiving treatment; and collecting toys around the holidays for children at the hospital.
In addition to our assisted living care, we provide a specialized Reminiscence Neighborhood for our residents living with memory loss. These suites are designed to promote social engagement and encourage a mutually supportive community. We also offer a Terrace Club neighborhood for residents living with the early stages of memory loss. Each neighborhood features secure courtyards and trained staff.
