Residents are seniors who do not require assistance with daily activities but may benefit from the convenient services, senior-friendly surroundings, and increased social opportunities that our independent living service offers. Our independent living service is also popular among “snowbird” seniors who wish to downsize or travel freely without the burden of managing a home.
Assisted living offers the freedom of independence and privacy of one’s own apartment with the extra support of our caring staff. Assisted living care is designed to provide assistance with basic ADLs (Activities of Daily Living) such as eating, bathing, grooming, dressing, housekeeping, laundry as well as medication assistance and/or reminders. Assisted living communities differ from skilled nursing facilities in that they don’t offer skilled medical services.
