Founded in 1973, Mennonite Friendship Communities celebrated its 40th anniversary in 2013. A brand refresh and name change in time for the celebratory events ties our future with our past.
Lying peacefully on a 120-acre tract in the Kansas plains on the edge of South Hutchinson, mfc was founded by a group of men from area Mennonite churches who believed there was need for a home that would care for aging members of the community. The support broadened and today mfc is governed by representatives from eight sponsoring churches that share a common Anabaptist history.
