Kenton Pointe Assisted Living Community

Kenton Pointe Assisted Living Community is a residential facility providing daily support for seniors in the Maysville, Kentucky area. Our facility is designed to accommodate the changing needs and preferences of individual residents, and therefore offers 24-hour staffing and assistance, assistance with medication administration, and other personal services. We encourage family and community involvement, and participation in our many campus activities for our residents.

Assisted living facilities are residences that provide help with the activities of daily life, while emphasizing their residents’ privacy and freewill. At Kenton Pointe, we provide the daily supportive services you need, while still respecting and catering to the way you want to live.

“Assisted living” does not mean the same thing as “living in a nursing home.” Unlike a nursing home, we do not directly deliver health care services, and our residents must be ambulatory, so that they can exit the building without assistance from another person in case of an emergency. Finally, assisted living communities offer a higher degree of independence and privacy than most nursing homes do.

Residents are able to maintain privacy by living in individual, lockable apartments, and are free to come and go as they please. Our community promotes independence, while providing a support system and help with “the little things.” Our family at Kenton Pointe offers an ideal solution to seniors who desire to live independently, but may need assistance with personal care and other aspects of daily life.

Kenton Pointe also promotes the concept of “aging in place,” which allows residents to remain in their Kenton Pointe home as long as possible. This is done through a variety of optional supportive services, which change as you change. After a Functional Needs Assessment, our staff will customize personal care services to your specific needs.
