Ohio Valley Manor

Ohio Valley Manor (OVM) was conceived in the late 1960s by a small group of local entrepreneurs concerned about the lack of high-quality long-term care in Brown County and the surrounding area. After two years of plan development and construction, the first 50-bed nursing facility – named the Ohio Valley Manor Convalescent Center – officially opened its doors on April 9, 1971.

For more than four decades, OVM has expanded its range of services, focusing on person-centered care that is responsive to each individual’s needs. Repeatedly recognized for its quality of care and excellence in service, OVM continues to meet the growing healthcare needs of the community with cutting-edge technology and a highly-skilled, dedicated and caring staff.
