Our staff of dedicated professionals envelop our residents with loving, attentive care, while simultaneously promoting each resident’s independence and individuality. Assistance with daily living activities is provided based upon individuals needs. We take great pride in ensuring our employees are updated with the latest evidenced-based practices to deliver warm holistic care.
However, we at Young at Heart do not just look into our employees’ credentials, but also into their hearts. We guarantee that our home is as close to a family environment as possible, which is why we pick individuals who are friendly, energetic, patient, and loving.
Our services include but not limited to:
- With more than 25 years of experience in delivering high-quality care, our Registered Nurses are present 40-50 hours weekly and are on-call 24/7. The RNs assess, coordinate care, and deliver patient-centered care to each resident.
- The staff members are chosen for their attitude of rendering compassionate care as well as their professional experience. Regular in-service provided by the in-house Practitioner allows the staff to be continuously updated on dementia care, infection control, fire and disaster response, first aid, and CPR. The role of our caregivers is to provide quality care to the residents as described in personalized care plans. We promote independence but will aid residents with simple tasks. Our staff is watchful of any changes in our residents’ health.
- At Young at Heart, our goal is to achieve restaurant-quality food while maintaining an at-home dining atmosphere. Residents are offered 3 delicious meals a day with the options of nutritious snacks.
- Our beautifully decorated and fully furnished double and single occupancy suites serve as a sanctuary of tranquility and comfort.
- Respite Care is great for seniors when families travel out of town or simply need a break from the stresses of caregiving. Young at Heart now offers respite care, allowing your loved ones to enjoy housekeeping services, dining, and all the other amenities enjoyed by our permanent residents. You can come in and drop off your relatives any time you’d like, and they can stay for however long you desire.
- Our staff members are well-trained and experienced in handling seniors with limited mobility and cognitive impairments. They have the expertise in transferring, promoting cognitive health and developing “person-centered” strategies, which are designed to ensure that services are tailored to each individual’s circumstances.
