Shanti Homes is a small, family oriented, licensed assisted living facility in Laurel, MD, expertly helping seniors since 1993.
Throughout the years Shanti Home residents have enjoyed the absolute highest standard of care! With a small number of residents in home-like facilities, every need is looked after, and every desire can be met. Our trained staff works one-on-one with the residents, helping to grow a relationship of love and trust.
Shanti Homes offers 24-hour care for seniors in private and semi-private rooms at our three locations in Laurel, MD. Assistance for daily activities are lovingly provided; including (but not limited to) bathing, toileting, eating, dressing, walking, and medicine needs. Doctors, dentists, and hair stylists visit Shanti Homes regularly, easing the worry of transportation for the residents to appointments.
The residents are served three home cooked meals a day, in addition to snacks and beverages throughout the day. Activities are scheduled for those that are able, with times for singing, reading, praying, poetry, as well as seasonal activities during the holidays.
Shanti Homes offers a variety of room options to help everyone feel right at home. We have single rooms, and shared king size room suites (usually an interest for elderly couples). We also encourage our residents to bring any decor or furniture to help customize their experience!
