New Life Assisted Living - Haslett West is a wonderful assisted living community in Haslett, Michigan. It is within storied Ingham County which is part of the Great Lakes State.

The city of Haslett is most notable for being the home of Lake Lansing, which has a beach that is a summer favorite of MSU students for swimming, sunbathing, boating and fishing. The Michigan State University Sailing Club is located on Lake Lansing.

New Life Assisted Living of DeWitt and Haslett are Adult Foster Care homes licensed for up to 11 elderly residents in DeWitt and 16/20 in Haslett locations. Our 24 hour staff provides all housekeeping, laundry, home cooked meals, and snacks. We also tend to medication delivery and direct care, such as assistance with bathing, dressing, general hygiene, and incontinence care.

While providing direct physical care to our elderly residents, we aim to fulfill their social and emotional needs. Organized and impromptu social gatherings centering around daily meals, games, arts and crafts, exercise, birthday parties, holidays, and other group activities are a daily part of the choices our residents have in how they spend their time. Whenever possible, personal interests are coordinated into group and individual activities, such as gardening or enjoying the company of a therapy animal. Residents’ families and friends are always welcomed to participate in and enjoy the activities.

New Life Assisted Living Center aims to partner with visiting doctors, nurses, podiatrists, beauticians, community volunteers, local farms and public schools to offer additional convenience services and valuable resources to our residents and their families.

Each resident is a valued member of the community at New Life Assisted Living Center. Families will be kept well informed of any physical or mental changes that may occur in their loved one. Providing a safe, clean and comfortable home for our residents is our top priority, regular communication between residents, families and staff will help ensure that all of our residents’ needs are being met to the best of our ability.
