Northcrest Assisted Living Community
North Muskegon, MI - Assisted Living
Community size: Large (26-100)
Northcrest Assisted Living Community is a resplendent assisted living community in North Muskegon, Michigan. It is within impressive Muskegon County which is part of the Great Lakes State.
Nestled on a quiet wooded campus in a North Muskegon neighborhood, Northcrest offers both serenity and security. For the mature adult requiring a supportive care lifestyle, Northcrest is a perfect new home environment. Northcrest offers three distinct levels of living. Our assisted living center has 85 beds.
Parkside Neighborhood (Level 1)
Our most active neighborhood accommodates residents able to move about freely, with walkers or wheelchairs. With minimal grooming, bathing or dressing assistance, residents can administer their own physician-prescribed medications.
Lakeside Neighborhood (Level 2)
Lakeside provides the right place for residents who may need more assistance in some activities of daily living. The Lakeside Neighborhood offers the support and security of our "wellness coordinators" and nursing staff for residents requiring social cues, direction or assistance with dressing, grooming, toileting, meals and room tidiness. Assistance with bathing keeps our Lakesiders "looking good." Medications are staff administered, and weight/vital signs and mental alertness are carefully monitored to ensure resident safety and family peace of mind. A full complement of social/recreational activities is provided daily. As physical and mental capacity changes, our professional staff and attending physician continuously review each Resident Service Plan.
Creekside Neighborhood (Level 3)
As mature adults become more fragile mentally and physically, Creekside Neighborhood offers additional assistance. Wellness coordinators, licensed nursing staff and our attending physician continuously monitor the resident's well being. Staff also provide assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting on a daily basis. Medications, weight and vitals play a larger role in the Resident Service Plan. Daily activities are scheduled and Creeksiders are encouraged to participate. Residents requiring daily skilled nursing care may be transferred to Hillcrest, our licensed skilled nursing community, physically connected to Northcrest and sharing this beautiful campus.
