Community Village provides assisted living services in Mid-Michigan to adults over the age of 55. Our “needs assessment interview” guides us in creating a service plan reflective of the individual’s current needs while respecting and encouraging their independence. By following this process, we not only demonstrate respect for our residents, but we maximize our efficiency as well. All service plans include meals, housekeeping, 24-hour staffing, and medication administration.

Senior Assisted Living Amenities
- Meals. A nutritious breakfast, lunch, and supper are daily served to residents with a menu planned specifically for the senior palate.
- Laundry Services. Provided by Village staff on a weekly basis. Service includes laundry removal, washing, drying, and delivery.
- Housekeeping Services. Daily trash removal and spot cleaning of apartments. Bi-weekly deep cleaning (dusting, moving furniture, mopping, vacuuming, tub/shower, toilets, sinks). Public bathrooms are cleaned multiple times throughout the day.
- Medication Assistance. Our qualified staff administers, monitors, and tracks all resident medications to help each person maintain optimal health

Everyone wants and needs to feel safe in their home. Living at Community Village is no exception which is why our staff constantly monitors the safety of residents.
- Each living unit is equipped with an Emergency Call System
- Medications are packaged in dated blister cards. Every dose administered is electronically charted for a constant double-check on quality and safety
- Resident Care Technicians are always the first line of resident safety and are able to provide an initial exam to determine whether medical transport is needed. MMR service is typically less than 10 minutes away with EMTs who are able to connect to the hospital emergency room when needed.
- Our staff is trained in CPR and in the use of an AED (available on site) to assist in emergency situations before EMTs arrive
- Exit doors are alarmed, including the main entrance where an elopement alert system (Wander Guard) is used. This system provides a turn-key solution for residents who are inclined to wander beyond our facility. Service for this system is provided at a modest fee
- Staff are always prepared to assist residents when they face challenges with daily life
- Our Activities Director plans regular exercises, games, and special events that help to keep muscles and joints pliable and usable
