Meridian Acres is an attractive assisted living community in Sanford, Michigan. It is within remarkable Midland County which is part of the Great Lakes State.

Since 2018, we’ve been serving the needs of individuals who value their independence but need assistance with daily living.

Assisted Living is for older adults who value their independence, but need some assistance with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, transportation, and medication administration. Seniors may live in their own apartments and are relieved of household chores such as laundry, cooking, and cleaning.

Our Memory Care Facility offers a safe and stimulating environment for those with dementia – including its most common form, Alzheimer’s disease. Meridian Acres’ Memory Care Unit provides a separate, comfortable, and secure environment for those in need of memory care. We know that memory loss affects each person differently, which is why we focus on understanding each individual and making sure their unique needs are met.

We offer specialized care designed specifically for this challenging diagnosis. Our professional and caring staff is trained and ready to serve your loved one 24/7. Memory loss can be challenging and discouraging for the individual experiencing it. That is why we are dedicated to meeting the needs of our residents with respect and dignity.

Memory loss reveals itself differently in each person. At Meridian Acres, we design our Memory Care activities and care plans around the unique needs of each resident. We believe it’s important to give attention to family members as well by offering support and regular updates on their loved ones.

We also offer in-house physical and occupational therapies as well as respite and hospice care. Our Assisted Living Facility includes a large memory care unit where we provide services focused firmly on the individual.
