At more than 400 square feet, each apartment provides ample living space as well as several closets. The living area includes a kitchenette equipped with a refrigerator, sink, counter, and cupboards. Residents may also choose to furnish a microwave. The bedroom area is adjoined by a private bath with a shower. A walk-in whirlpool tub is also available in the building for residents to use with
staff assistance.
Apartments are unfurnished, allowing residents to bring cherished items from home and to decorate according to individual preferences. Window treatments are provided. Telephone and cable TV hookups are also in place to allow easy installation if the resident chooses to have these services.
The Sacred Heart Assisted Living Apartments provide the privacy of individual apartments, combined with the ease of living that comes from fully prepared meals, housekeeping and laundry services. Additionally, the connecting hallway allows easy access for those who wish to visit family members or friends in the nursing home, or to attend services in Sacred Heart’s chapel. Assisted living can also be a less expensive option to nursing home placement for those who do not have extensive care needs.
