Welcome to Good Shepherd, a caring, active and engaged community for adults age 55+. Our campus started in 1963 with Good Shepherd Lutheran Home, a retirement community designed to provide Graceful Living .
Over the years, we’ve grown and expanded to provide Graceful Living in many new Housing with Services settings, including: patio homes, senior apartments (with or without assisted living services), home health care (serving surrounding communities within 30 miles) and memory care.

Good Shepherd’s Assisted Living program provides a helping hand when you need it.
Our Assisted Living program is a package of structured and scheduled services delivered to you, in any senior apartment on the Good Shepherd campus, through a Comprehensive Home Care license. This offers great flexibility in apartment styles, sizes, and other options. Assisted Living services may be added as you age in place or upon move in.
The base package of services includes RN Case Management, emergency response system, weekly light housekeeping, laundry, a daily verification check, a wide variety of fun and engaging activities and your choice of two or three meals per day. Hands-on care services beyond the base package are customized to each your needs and purchased ala carte.
Good Shepherd Cottages are a nurturing and supportive environment for people with early through mid-late stages of memory loss. With only nine suites per Cottage, the atmosphere is warm and cozy. You are encouraged to spend time with your friends in the comfy living areas or participating in wellness activities; your private bedroom suite is your sanctuary, when you need some quiet time.
Whether you would like an occasional meal or three scheduled meals daily, Good Shepherd Nutrition Services offers meal options to meet your needs. We can provide you with the option for a noon meal, or you can choose a comprehensive meal plan. Comprehensive plans offer two or three meals per day, five or seven days a week. There is also a weekend-only option available.
Excellent food, wonderful conversation, and the warm companionship of friends make every meal both precious and delicious. Guests are always more than welcome to join us also ~ the more the merrier!
