The Village is an enchanting assisted living community in Cameron, Missouri. It is within fantastic DeKalb County which is part of the Show Me State.
At The Village, we offer two living options for seniors. Our residential care facility provides 24/7 around the clock care with a certified nursing staff. The Village apartments are independent and convenient for those with a more active lifestyle.
If you need help with medications, doctor appointments, laundry, bathing, and/or transportation, our residential care is for you. Our staff is on duty 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year. Our staff includes a house doctor, RN Consultant, licensed professional D.O.N., CMAs, CMT, and CNAs, Dietary Consultant, licensed beautician, housekeeping staff, maintenance, office manager and a licensed administrator.
All resident rooms are private with a private bathroom, individual heat and air conditioning control, wall-to-wall carpet, call lights in each room to notify staff, and all rooms are conveniently located near one of the six dining rooms.
Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are planned and prepared under the direction of a registered dietician, served seven days a week in one of our six dining rooms.
AMENITIES
- The Village of Cameron has many amenities such as an on-site beauty salon and barber services are available by appointment with our licensed beautician.
- Group activities on a daily basis include: Church Services every Sunday, Bible Studies, Sing-a-long, Bingo, and Movie Time. Activities are added seasonally and special events are frequently scheduled.
- Security is a very important matter to us. We ask that visitors new to our facility check in with the nursing staff so that we know who is in the building at all times. We have a community wide video camera system to monitor the campus for the safety of our residents and staff.
- Interior and exterior maintenance is provided daily. Our in-house maintenance staff is on-site daily and available on-call as determined by the nursing staff for "after hours" problems.
- Cable television is available, as well as access to our computer in which you may want to keep in touch with family and friends through email. The Village has a number of sitting areas with hundreds of books to chose from, as well as a large selection of magazines.
- The Oats Bus is available by appointment, and local churches provide transportation to Sunday services.
