Arbors at Westbrook Terrace
Jefferson City, MO - Assisted Living, Memory Care
Community size: Large (26-100)
Americare Senior Living has served seniors and their families throughout the Midwest for nearly four decades. Our all-inclusive senior living communities feel more like a home than a campus, and that’s intentional. Privately owned and operated, we adhere to a person-first model of care that prioritizes the interests and preferences of each individual.
At Westbrook Terrace Senior Living, we know that caring for a loved one with Alzheimer’s disease or memory loss can be challenging. Let us help ease your strain. Our Arbors memory care program is designed to engage residents on a personal level, speaking to their interests and engaging their minds with a variety of activities and opportunities for social interaction with care partners and friends.
While other communities rely solely on medication and technology to care for individuals with memory loss, we know that relationships are a much more powerful therapy. Our Best Friends™ approach to memory care celebrates the life of each individual. We use the essential elements of friendship – respect, empathy, support, trust, and humor – to forge a deeper connection with your loved one.
Memory care assisted living at The Arbors at Westbrook Terrace honors the memories, achievements, and traditions of each resident by implementing a personalized care plan that celebrates their life story. A living, breathing document - we update your loved one’s life story as their needs and interests change.
At Westbrook Terrace Senior Living in Jefferson City, Missouri, we don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach to senior living. Instead, we focus on the individual. The right fit for your unique needs is waiting in our community.
If you find yourself in need of assistance with bathing, dressing or medication management, we can help. Our assisted living community encourages independence while providing the essential care services you need to continue living a happy and healthy life. This proactive approach to assisted living takes into account the seven dimensions of wellness: social, emotional, spiritual, environmental, occupational, intellectual and physical.
Respite stays are ideal for caregivers in need of a break or seniors recovering from surgery or hospitalization. Offering full-service, short-term care, we make it easy for you to get the help you need.
We help residents access the Medicare-covered services for which they may be eligible. Our commitment to helping seniors age in place includes coordinating palliative care and end-of-life services through hospice. Our care partners join with hospice providers to create a circle of support for our residents and their loved ones.
You don’t have to commit to our community full-time to reap the benefits of our services. We offer adult day club to seniors and their caregivers with professional short-term care options. Day guests enjoy a welcoming place with all the comforts of home, while caregivers enjoy much-needed time away for work or rest.
Home health care for skilled nursing visits includes diabetic teaching, post-surgery wound care, and new device or appliance instruction. This service is ideal for seniors transitioning back into assisted living after a hospital visit or while recovering from an illness or injury.
Rehabilitation includes physical, occupational and speech therapy following hospitalization or a short-term inpatient rehabilitation stay. Therapy can continue right here at Westbrook Terrace Senior Living under the Medicare Part B program.
