Opened in Fulton, MS in 2008, the owners and staff of Charleston Place aspire to create a comtemporary community living atmosphere where our residents can maintain a meaningful and active social life while maintaining a degree of personal independence.
The Grove fulfills residents' needs for socialization and activity by providing a space for daily activities and exercise. Equipped with floor to ceiling windows, as well as exercise equipment and a full-size kicthen, it is a welcoming space for connecting with others.
Our activity department provides our residents with a variety of opportunities to enjoy a number of activities including bingo, exercise, arts & crafts, and occasional community outings. Residents are offered exercise classes each weekday morning and directed activities are also available in the afternoon. Our new oversized front porch is an additional location for exercise class or visiting.
The Chapel is complete with a pulpit, hymnals, and a piano. Everything our residents need to continue to have an active church life - something that is often greatly missed by patients who can no longer live at home alone.
Pastors from many area churches come to offer services regularly - be sure to ask about dates and times.
Our recently expanded dining room creates a warm, inviting atmosphere for residents and families to gather around the tables for meals and fellowship. Menus for Charleston Place are created by a Registered Dietitian and served with the purpose of providing delicious and nutritious selections at all dining times. Our private dining room is also available for special occasions and may be reserved upon request.
