Atwood Personal Care Homes have been in business since 1993. It is owned and operated by Mark and Debra Atwood, RN from Kosciusko, Ms. We welcomed our daughter, Katelin Atwood-Adams, RN, BSN, to the family business in 2012. She now helps us manage our three homes.
In 1993, we opened our business in a small home in Kosciusko, MS. In 1996, we opened a 30 bed home in Kosciusko and have continued to grow and expand. In 2009, we opened a 32 bed home in Philadelphia, MS. We expanded into Noxapater, MS in 2014 with a 15 bed home right outside of the Noxapater city limits.
Although our homes offer different amenities, they all offer exceptional care to you and your loved ones.

This beautiful home in Noxapater has a country living feel to it that both residents and staff love! Residents are delighted by the deer and geese that come to the back door looking to be fed each day. Nestled on a hill with five acres of peaceful countryside surrounding it, this home features a large covered porch, a beautiful lakeside view, an open dining hall, and an inviting sunroom. Each of the residents enjoys a private room with walk-in closet and full bathroom, including shower complete with grab bars.
Each room and bathroom is equipped with a call button for the safety and convenience of the residents, and residents also wear a wireless pendant system to call for help when outside of their room. Other safety features in the home include keypad security, alarms on all exit doors, and a tornado safe-room.
