Memorial Hospital is Critical Access Hospital. Our 24-bed acute care hospital is certified for swing beds with an additional 6 assisted living rooms. What is Assisted Living? A person needing assistance with activities of daily living also known as Custodial Care will be considered for admission to our assisted living.
Memorial Hospital provides assisted living in 6 private rooms. A person needing assistance with their activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, mobility, toileting, and medications) will be considered for admission to our assisted living. Residents also receive the services of meals, housekeeping, and laundry.
All residents will be evaluated to asses if Memorial Hospital Assisted Living offers the most appropriate environment for the level of care needed to ensure the safety of our residents and staff. Our commitment is to provide exceptional individual care to our residents.
Our Family Medical Centers are comprised of three clinic sites located in Seward, Milford and Utica employing 10 physicians and 3 physician assistants specializing in family practice.
Memorial Hospital Specialty Clinic offers 19 areas of specialized care. Our Family Practice Physicians give patients a continuum of care through referrals to other Specialists who provide services on a regular basis at the Specialty Physicians Clinic.
Seward Family Pharmacy offers personal and professional pharmaceutical care with 4 registered pharmacists dedicated to serving you.
Seward Memorial Physical Therapy specializes in outpatient and inpatient rehabilitation through aquatic therapy, orthopedics, geriatrics, sports injuries, home safety evaluations, occupational and speech therapy.
At Memorial Hospital, we extend a warm welcome to you and your family. Your physician may recommend a short stay in Skilled Care to stabilize your condition and increase your independence.
Skilled Care includes follow-up care and/or rehabilitation related to the illness or injury for which the patient was originally hospitalized. Seward Memorial Hospital has 24 beds that are designated as swing beds, meaning they can alternate between acute care and skilled care.
We offer physical, occupational, and speech therapies. Our social service department is available to help with patient/family concerns and discharge planning.
