Physical Therapy restores mobility and function, focusing on increased strength, endurance, and range of motion. Patients learn how to use assistive devices such as walkers or canes properly as needed, and therapists teach specific exercises to promote increased function and mobility.

Many doctors prescribe physical therapy after an injury or illness for residents to regain independence. Each patient heals at a different rate, and our team will not rush or slow down the process. After implementing their specific therapy plans, our patients return to the best level of mobility for their circumstances.

Commonly confused with physical therapists, occupational therapists retrain patients in daily tasks like bathing, dressing, and grooming. They also teach the skills necessary to maintain independence around the home, including cooking, washing dishes, or cleaning.

As range of motion decreases, patients may need occupational therapy in order to regain their previous level of independence. Our therapists also evaluate memory loss and help patients stay engaged through activities such as puzzles.
