At The Heritage Assisted Living & Adult Day Care, LLC, we are a small community living, hidden in a quiet, residential neighborhood in Las Cruces NM. We specialize in providing pleasant, skilled Caregivers who specialize in companionship. Our homes are designed with our elderly residents in mind. Our private rooms are large bedrooms with their own baths. We also offer community rooms, both indoor and outdoor, where new friends are made.
We offer assistance with personal care, activities of daily living (ADL), laundry, housekeeping, and three delicious meals to look forward to, prepared by our two dedicated, very good cooks. We also manage outings and activities and above all, we provide friendship. We believe that stimulation is dementia prevention!
The Doctor is in and making house calls! In small assisted living communities it’s rare to have a Medical Director. Dr. Louis Benevento is a board certified, Internal Medicine physician with many geriatric patients in Las Cruces. We also have an in-house, Wellness Director, who manages the residents and their medications, provides patient/family education, coordinates with Hospice when necessary, addresses overall healthcare concerns, and she’s diligent about fall prevention. All of our programming and our staff is directed by the Owner/Administrator, Trevas Younger. It will be evident to you after one tour or visit, that the love is in the details and she has a special fondness for this segment of the population.
We also provide Respite Care for an occasional night, weekend or vacation break for the caregiver or family members, if we have availability. In addition, we may be the only fully-licensed, Adult Day program in Las Cruces offering hourly, half or full day, including meals, care for seniors or developmentally disabled. Our prices are competitive and modest, depending on the level of care (LOC). We do not charge an additional fee for medication management. We also coordinate with the Sheriff’s department Project Lifesaver for GPS tracking if we are worried about elopement to prevent wandering.
