L.B.S.H. Housing and Claddagh Care Enriched Housing is an outstanding assisted living community in Brasher Falls, New York. It is within delightful Saint Lawrence County which is part of the Empire State.
L.B.S.H. is a non-profit organization which was founded in 1976 and is comprised of sixty apartments all on one beautiful site, tucked away amongst the trees just off of Main Street Brasher. Twenty-eight of those apartments are certified as enriched housing apartments.
We here at L.B.S.H. value our history and have attempted to remain true to the vision of the founders to provide quality, subsidized housing and enriched housing. We strive to build productive relationships and make a positive impact with all our pursuits.
L.B.S.H. Housing offers low-income, subsidized housing to seniors 62 years of age or older and persons with disabilities regardless of age. Additionally, L.B.S.H. Claddagh Care Enriched Housing is certified by the New York State Department of Health, providing a supportive living atmosphere for those who require help with daily living activities. Individuals in this program are able to maintain an apartment and receive supportive services on a daily basis. Enriched Housing is NOT Assisted Living and it is NOT Skilled Nursing.
It is the goal of L.B.S.H. Housing and Claddagh Care Enriched Housing to provide local housing options to the elderly and disabled with compassion, caring, and comforting service. Individuals can maintain a private apartment but also conveniently participate in community living, without the stress and burden of home ownership and maintenance.

The following is a sampling of on-site services available at L.B.S.H.: twice weekly NYSARC bus trips; Community Room with television and kitchenette; closed captioned reader for the visually impaired; Beaty Salon, Dining Facility, Tenant Library; affordable, nutritious hot lunches prepared by the St. Lawrence County Office for the Aging Food and Friendship Site; Management and Maintenance Staff on site.
