[Music] at its core our renovation isn't about new buildings or more space it's about strengthening relationships and bringing our tight-knit community even closer together it's an investment in people in our residents their families and our staff everything drives toward a single goal providing residents with the right level of care in a setting that emphasizes independence and the freedom to choose to create a home that truly feels like home it's obvious that they try very hard just to just satisfy everybody with the food and every and any other way feels like a home beautiful home and it is that supposed to be so I do like it very much and I'm glad I'm here I'm glad I decided to come here everyone living in our green house cottages has their own bedroom and bathroom so they can enjoy a little privacy when they prefer it in spacious living rooms kitchens and dining rooms offer all the comforts of home when spending quality time with family and friends I think seeing in a more home-like setting is definitely bringing out more things that we didn't know about them they're certainly opening up they're spending time you know communicating with families and other friends they're proud to show where they live it is a home and they've tried to create that and they've done that with the littlest things nicer sheets beautiful talisman wash clothes pretty plates just the amenities that make it a home to prepare our staff has also been undergoing months of extensive training empowering them to provide a personal approach to care every day they can take a nap that they want to they can get up when they want to it's just more choice which i think is nice it's just overall been a wonderful experience I think generally the residents are very happy we're seeing them adjust well and adjust faster than anticipated I'm grateful just to see their reactions and they smile make me warm and make me happy and make me feel that much happier about my job to be able to serve and serve them with a smile the green house cottages are an exciting addition to the Jewish Senior Life campus that will have a positive impact on seniors for years to come but they're just one of the ways we're changing the face of Senior Living the jewish-owned Farish tower is also getting an upgrade and we're expanding our transitional care program to be one of the biggest in the county if you look around you can see there are more projects in the works while there is more to do today marks a huge step forward both for Jewish Senior Life the community we serve and most importantly the people we care for every single day

for many people in swells for myself it's very hard to give up your home that you've lived in for so many years we chose the summit because first of all was highly recommended to us and we chose it because of the continuum of care that's offered here I have life care I didn't have long term care when I moved in here and I bought it as part of my rent everything is included and one of the beauties of it is that if I become ill or when I become ill as I age I can move on to assisted living I can move into the Jewish home it's just a smooth transition and I think that's important as we get older I can move on for the same fee that I'm paying in my rent which is a big advantage and I think that puts my family at ease also to know that they don't have to worry because that was one other thing my children were concerned about you know they didn't want to make the decision for me they wanted me to make the decision and that was my choice this has been my choice that I don't regret it you [Music]
