For over 40 years Friendship Village has been a trusted and welcoming retirement community in the Dayton region. We’ve grown in size and in the specific living arrangements and care services we provide. Many friends, family and neighbors have called Friendship Village “home” over the years and it’s helped us to become the largest retirement community in the area. Good friends tend to talk us up.

We felt it was time to forge a “New Friendship” to help us better connect with our wonderful community. Friendship Village has updated its brand to be more inviting and appeal to new friends that will seek out Friendship Village for retirement living, assisted living, skilled nursing care or rehabilitation services this year and beyond. Our staff, caregivers and residents do make a difference and it’s one that needs to be seen.

Friendship Village Assisted Living is located on the Friendship Village campus surrounded and supported by Independent Living and Nursing Care. Our Assisted Living can provide the choices and needed help with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, medication, housekeeping, meals and other needs that do not require a Skilled Nursing Home. Our stimulating activities promote independence while our care givers lend support, sincere caring and health care services on an individual basis. Supporting our residents with the dignity you should expect is our goal and a tradition at Friendship Village. Our dedicated, professional staff will cater to your every need 24 hours a day.

Friendship Village residents receive priority access to the community’s professionally staffed, on-site Health Care Center. This 97-bed, Medicare- and Medicaid-certified facility offers skilled-nursing and a 30-bed rehabilitative care in an atmosphere of warmth and compassion. Since the center is located on our spacious campus, it is very much a part of the Friendship Village community, allowing residents to receive the services and support they need while continuing to feel right at home.

The Health Care Center provides a variety of specialized services to address patients’ complete needs, including personalized day-to-day assistance with routine activities, physical, occupational, and speech therapy, as well as wound and pain management. The center also assists with discharge planning and home healthcare coordination, so patients returning home—whether just across campus or anywhere in the region—can receive the appropriate follow-up care.

The caring, experienced staff of the Health Care Center includes registered and licensed practical nurses, licensed therapists, certified nursing assistants and licensed dietitians.

Our diverse culture and full circle of care we provide means that a resident can receive most all of their care and services right on the premises. All provided with a caring and friendly staff.
