The Young and Young at Heart
Residents can gain so much during visits from the kind young adults in our area. Since the River Bend House is located near several schools, we enjoy weekly visits from a wide range of students. Undergraduates from Shawnee State University, who major in occupational therapy, provide our residents with opportunities to share their knowledge in a fun atmosphere.
A Welcoming Home
Residents love our community because it feels more like home. One of our main goals is to provide a variety of spaces so that residents can enjoy their days with ease. Our seniors can settle in and enjoy the services that we offer. Some of these shared spaces include the library, courtyard, dining area, and community room. Also, our rehabilitation gym provides a convenient setting if seniors need assistance while recovering from surgery or an injury.
