[Music] even though I've lived here for years I still haven't gotten over this feeling of freedom and release of of homeownership and maintenance and that sometimes I stand in my living room and I look around and I say even though I'm the only one in the house I say I like it here I like it here I think the first thing that comes to mind about Mennonite village is that we are christ-centered community we have 275 acres and we have 20 different floor plans on our campus so we have something for everyone once I came to the Mennonite village and had my tour I felt at home and some may think that's unusual but when you know something's right you feel that it's right you just go for it and I have found everything that I need and want here at Mennonite village and so my wish list has been fulfilled so our campus has over 300 homes we also have independent living apartments small medium and large units and those vary in square footage and amenities but they all would include lunch and dinner daily and housekeeping and some other amenities I think from from visiting other communities the thing I'm often most struck about is how fortunate Mennonite village is to have so much land available to us I think for people who find their peace by living among green open spaces or by sitting by the lake or following the path through the trees by the creek or even being able to grow vegetables and fruit in their own gardens that just make men and I village a really special place for those people so when we looked around we did some comparisons because we had friends that lived in other continuing care communities and it ended up that one day by chance we just happened to stroll through Mennonite village and we saw that it was beautiful people who who have looked around and done their homework before they make the decision to move here often tell us that we are one of the best values for the money and I really appreciate that because I feel like like we tried really hard to balance and maintain a good balance between the services that we offer in the prices that we charge out an independent living the residents are really good about looking out for each other and coming together as a community and I think that's one of our big attractions is just us being our own little unit I think at the heart of the culture Mennonite village is the belief that all people have value and that everybody matters it doesn't matter what your title was and your occupation it doesn't matter how large your bank account is I really see a believe there's value in every person that calls my village home we're here to serve you know who you are where you came from if you need a place to go that you're looking for life of living and the community and then Mennonite village is the place for you [Music] you
