Waterhouse Ridge is a charming and safe memory care community that is dedicated to serving the needs of individuals with Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia. Conveniently located in Beaverton, Oregon, Waterhouse Ridge provides services and amenities that are specifically designed to meet the unique needs of our memory-impaired residents so that they may enjoy a supportive and safe environment. Catering to the specific needs of your loved one, our caring and professional staff creates a customized care plan for each of our residents. We work hard to build trust and form emotional bonds with our residents that will enhance their lives for years to come.

Residents and family members enjoy the beautifully furnished and comfortable neighborhoods that are fully equipped with all the comforts of home. There are no “visiting hours” at Waterhouse Ridge; friends and family members are always welcome. Prospective residents and their family members are encouraged to visit too — we offer several different floor plan options and many amenities, including:

At Waterhouse Ridge Memory Care, we understand that the dining experience is important. Our chef and cooks use from-scratch cooking techniques, in-season fruits and vegetables, and natural herbs and spices in each recipe to create delicious and well-balanced meals.

It is important to include comfort foods and family-favorite recipes and our chef will frequently solicit input from residents and their family members so that the meals served will be a source of surprise and delight! Our chef can accommodate special dietary restrictions and will strive to include foods that promote brain health and wellness.

At Waterhouse Ridge, we focus on discovering and providing the activities that are the most meaningful for each resident, every day. Keeping the mind and body active is an important part of a healthy lifestyle at any age; daily exercise and a variety of other fun group activities are provided for our residents to enjoy.

Because we know that nothing compares to the company of friends and family, we encourage residents to continue doing the things that they love with the people they love. At Waterhouse Ridge, there is space to host events such as birthday parties, musical entertainment, and movie nights.

Each neighborhood is stocked with Life Enrichment Kits that will assist staff and visitors in spending quality time with residents—anywhere, and at any time. Our unique approach to life enrichment not only incorporates the efforts of our trained staff, but also encourages the involvement of our residents’ guests.
