Corvallis Caring Place is a wonderful assisted living community in Corvallis, Oregon. It is within graceful Benton County which is part of the Beaver State.
We have 42 apartments, 24 hour care, and offer three home cooked meals a day. We are located in a city of over 55,000 within easy walking distance to shopping and the Corvallis Senior Center. We provide many activities both on and off site, with a handicap-equipped bus available for trips off campus.
Corvallis Caring Place offers 42 comfortable and affordable studio or one-bedroom apartments to seniors, on a month-to-month contract. Residency comes with three delicious meals each day, weekly housekeeping, compassionate assistance available 24/7, and many other amenities and conveniences.
Through daily living, our staff gets to know and appreciate each resident. We strive to serve and provide care to each individual with an attitude of dignity, respect, and recognition of their personal preferences. Trained staff provide competent care day and night under direction of licensed nurses. A licensed nurse is on site at least 5 days a week. Staff have access to a nurse for consultation 24 hours/day, 7 days/week.
Our caregivers provide services for residents that include assistance with activities of daily living, medication administration, resident-focused activities, supervision and support. Individuals other than caregivers include housekeeping, building maintenance, clerical/administrative or food preparation, as well as the administrator and a licensed nurse.
We offer a wide variety of services to our residents including, but not limited to:
- Bathing
- Dressing
- Grooming
- Hygiene
- Medication and treatment assistance
- Regular re-evaluations of, and modifications to, personalized service plans
- Help managing challenges related to early memory loss
- Transportation coordination assistance for medical appointments
We offer many amenities for our residents to enjoy during their leisure time and to promote well-being. Residents have access to raised beds where they can grow fruit, vegetables and/or flowers. An additional large garden exists where we grow vegetables and fruit for use in preparing resident meals.

- A fireplace around which to gather for socialization or quiet reflection.
- Handicap accessible community van for activity programs.
- Whirlpool bath/spa for resident use whenever desired.
- Complete barber shop/beauty/salon.

Corvallis Caring Place residents enjoy leisurely meals in a lovely setting with new and old friends alike. Residents receive three nutritious and delicious meals a day with a snack bar that is open around the clock.
Our Dining Services Manager, a chef by training, and highly-trained staff provide excellent cuisine in our beautiful dining room. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are served restaurant style. A 365-day menu cycle ensures that no one in the community becomes bored or discontented with our meals and fine service. Most meals include fresh fruits and vegetables.
Our warm and friendly staff offers supervision with activities, such as exercises, games, crafts, shopping, walks, music, outings, movies, presentations, Wii bowling, resident council meetings, and more.
Daily social and recreational activities are based on individual and group interests; and physical, mental, and psycho-social needs. Our goal is to create opportunities for active participation in the community. Each month residents receive a newsletter that lists activities for the upcoming month.
