If you or someone you know is unable to carry out the necessary tasks of life, it may be time to think of a more supportive living situation. When people begin to forget to take their medication, lose interest in cooking and eating or are frequently falling, it usually means time for a change. Many people in this situation choose to live in a more familiar setting....a setting like their own home.
This type of setting is excellent for residents who do not want to live in a larger community setting but still require a level of assistance similar to that offered by an Assisted Living or Nursing Home. The staff in a residential care home may assist with medication, help residents bathe, get dressed and perform many other daily tasks or activities of daily living. Because of the care facility's intimate settings, owners can often specialize in particular resident needs such as diabetes care, memory care, residents with special diets, residents who speak a particular language (Japanese or Spanish for example), residents of a particular religion or cultural background, as well as other needs.
OUR GOAL at FOUR SEASONS is to create an atmosphere where residents will be treated with dignity and respect allowing them to retain their individuality and independence while receiving all the care they require at a fraction of the price of the larger facilities. To assure that this is done effectively, a health assessment is conducted by our RN on staff prior to admission.
