Our campus consists of 2 houses specially designed for individuals struggling with dementia and other co-occurring mental health disorders. Both of the houses are beautiful, custom-built, safe and secure homes.
McKenzie Living is two separate campuses that specialize in managing individuals diagnosed with disorders including mental health, traumatic brain injury, chronic brain disease, challenging dementia behavior, all-male challenging behavior, co-ed challenging behavior as well as others who require the dedicated support of a skilled nursing facility and don’t fit within traditional community based care settings.
McKenzie Living is a sanctuary for individuals seeking a safe and supportive environment where care and services are delivered with compassion. Our residents live in a homelike atmosphere where professional and loving staff assist residents 24 hours a day. Residents and guests enjoy the splendor of the campus with many areas designed for outdoor activity.
Our staff is dedicated and specially trained to provide the 24-hour a day care of a skilled nursing facility to our residents living with various disorders ranging from mental health to traumatic brain injury and other disorders.
Low caregiver to resident ratios allow our staff to spend quality time with individual residents and not feel rushed to move on to the next task or assignment.
The purpose of McKenzie Living is to provide a safe and secure environment for individuals with a variety of diagnoses who can reside together under professional specialty care like a skilled nursing facility. Many of our residents couldn’t find adequate placement prior to the existence of McKenzie Living.
