Kilchis House is a non-profit assisted living community owned and operated by Community Action Resource Enterprises, Inc. (CARE), a non-profit social services agency.
CARE is pleased to own and operate the Kilchis House Senior Assisted Living Community where we provide quality affordable care to the cherished seniors of Tillamook County.
Designed for those who need help but cherish their independence, Kilchis House provides private apartments and flexible personal assistance. Services may include medication administration and personal care as needed.
Kilchis House is professionally managed by CARE, Inc., by staff with more than 15 years of experience in the Assisted Living Industry. In addition to its two assisted living facilities, CARE provides emergency and homeless services, support for first-time parents and community development in Tillamook County. Our communities are locally owned and unique, reflecting the individual tastes and prefrences of the residents who live there.
With only 30 units, Kilchis House maintains a very “home like” environment. The residents know one another and enjoy socializing over meals in the dining room, recreational activities throughout the day, or while watching television together in the living room. Pets of all types are welcomed and we encourage frequent visits from family and friends.

CARE is a locally controlled non-profit organization incorporated in 1991. In addition to assisted living, CARE provides low-income and homeless services, support for first time parents and community development.

- Three nutritious meals are served daily in our dining room

- Weekly housekeeping and laundry services
- Specially trained care giving staff, 24 hours/day, 7 days/week
