Our ranch-style senior living home has been part of the charming Dillsburg community for 20 years, 10 under the Elmcroft name. Residents enjoy varied and exciting activities, wonderful food, comfortable living and superb personal care in a serene setting surrounded by farmland and woods, but also close to major routes and a quaint downtown. All maintenance and housekeeping is included, so days are spent enjoying life, not doing chores.

We take our residents’ preferences into consideration in every way. Our personal care home is pet friendly, so dogs and cats are welcome. Private or shared room options are available. Menus feature multiple choices of chef-prepared meals served restaurant-style in our dining room or as room service. Fun activities are planned according to the interests of our residents. And when residents want some peaceful quiet, our gardens, courtyard and comfortable indoor gathering spaces with scenic views are just right for reading or contemplation.

Our staff are specially trained in the full range of personal care skills. That means our residents can enjoy as much independence as safely as possible, as long as possible.

One of the many things our residents compliment us on is our staff. No other communities in our region have the tenure and experience of our resident care staff. Our management has 111 years of combined senior living leadership experience. And, our front-line staff average 6.5 years of experience with Elmcroft. Everyone here – from our 24-hour resident care staff to our culinary staff, housekeeping staff and activities coordinators – is completely devoted to making our residents happy and at home.

When our residents need a little extra help throughout the day and night, our personal care staff are specially trained to provide the considerate and compassionate service that helps them thrive. We provide help with day-to-day tasks like incontinence and medication management as well as dressing, bathing and dining. And we’re there with support for safe engagement in fun activities like arts and crafts, book club, cooking classes, field trips, fitness classes, gardening club, on-site live musical entertainment, outdoor parties and picnics, trivia contests and more.

Helping our residents stay healthy is part of our mission. We coordinate with their local physicians and provide escorted transportation to and from appointments. And, we coordinate with physical therapists, occupational therapists and speech therapists to continue residents’ care right on site. Plus, on-call physician services are available as needed.
