Christ the King Parish has an association with the Catechist Sisters of Mary Immaculate Help of Christians, commonly known as the Sisters of Mary Immaculate (SMI). The SMI serve the needs of people in the United States and six other countries. Their charisms include evangelizing, educating, and visiting the sick and homebound.
They render Christ-like care of the physical, mental and spiritual needs of the souls through their dispensaries, hospitals and homes for senior citizens. One such home for seniors is the Bishop Morrow Personal Care Home, located next to our church campus in Leechburg, Pennsylvania. It is within fetching Westmoreland County which is part of the Keystone State.
