Penn Home

For 170 years, Penn Home has been an oasis in an urban setting, meeting the critical challenge of providing a comfortable, loving environment for older adults with modest resources who are unable to live independently. We are located in the historic Fishtown/Kensington section of Philadelphia, an area rich in history, and consequently, rich in memories for its older residents.

Penn Home has developed the unique capacity to provide a stable, nurturing environment so older adults can feel comfortable remaining in the community where most have resided all their lives, at a cost they can afford.
