Schoolyard Square, which joined the StoneRidge Retirement Living family in 2014, is an independent living and personal care community located in the heart of Pine Grove, PA. The community is housed at the former home of the Pine Grove Area School and is adjacent to the high school’s baseball field. Options in independent living include 21 one- and two-bedroom apartments. In personal care, they offer 48 private and semi-private rooms all in a family-like atmosphere. The staff at Schoolyard Square strives to provide the choices residents want and the care they need in a warm and friendly environment. A relative of a resident tells us that they “love Schoolyard Square,” and that “the staff is knowledgeable and goes out of their way to be friendly, empathetic and kind.”
