The Community at Holy Family Manor is an appealing assisted living community in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. It is within colorful Allegheny County which is part of the Keystone State.
We are a state-certified personal care facility, with capacity to serve 42 Personal Care residents and 12 Memory Care residents, in addition to our 12-unit Sisters Wing. Rooted by the CHFM Mission inspired by the Sisters of the Holy Family of Nazareth, our staff and volunteers welcome and lovingly care for residents from all walks of life and faith backgrounds. We are committed to meeting residents' needs in body, mind, and spirit. We staff above the state required minimums and provide on-going staff training to ensure high quality care and quality of life for your loved one. Many residents enjoy befriending and mingling at mealtimes and activities with the Sisters also receiving care at Holy Family Manor.
Our Memory Care Unit accommodates 12 residents with a staff-to-resident ratio of 1 to 6.
Residents in this unit are offered the same services as our personal care residents in private rooms, as well as additional resources and activities, like our Life Skills Stations. These stations are intended to stimulate the memories of those affected by Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia or memory impairments, providing varied environments within a controlled and safe setting. Our Memory Care Unit also features extra security measures.
Personal Care Services Overview
- We provide personal, individualized, around-the-clock care to adults with personal care needs with a staff to resident ratio of 1 to 10 on our faith-focused campus.
- Private rooms, private suites, and semi-private rooms are available.
- Our residents' daily life may include Mass in our chapel or on our closed-circuit television system, crafts, pet therapy, live entertainment, or time spent on our balconies and campus grounds.
- In addition to daily celebration of the Eucharist, our chapel is also available for private prayer, ecumnical services, and meditation for all faiths.
- Personal care plans are created upon admission and updated regularly to maintain the most appropriate level of care to fit each resident's routine, stage of independence, and personal preferences. In all that we do, we strive to help our residents feel a fullness of life.
