St. Clare - Newport is a splendid assisted living community in Newport, Rhode Island. It is within appealing Newport County which is part of the Ocean State.
The mission of St. Clare-Newport has remained unchanged since the Daughters of the Holy Spirit arrived in Newport in September 1909 and began their ministry of caring for the sick and elders in their homes. We work hard each day to improve the quality of life for our family and community through care and service.
Today St. Clare-Newport continues to offer the highest quality care to our elders. Our senior care community offers a continuum of services from adult day health and assisted living to special care units with memory care, short term rehabilitation, and skilled nursing services along with a variety of stimulating recreational activities to fulfill the physical, social, emotional, and spiritual needs of our elders. Our programs are developed to reflect the interests of individual residents and meet their physical, mental, social and emotional needs. Activities include daily fitness and exercise, library hour with the Newport Public Library and recreational programs such as musical entertainment, outings and special activities.
St. Clare-Newport’s team of experienced healthcare professionals offer traditional and therapeutic medical services for our elders and support for their caregivers. Each person entering our home receives an individualized care plan to ensure that they receive the very best treatment and care from our staff.
