We are a skilled nursing facility that provides 24 hour comprehensive nursing care. At Hudson Care & Rehab Center we care about each resident. Each individual will have an individualized plan of care to meet their specific needs. Our staff provides care with compassion and knows the power of a healing hand and warm smile.
Our Social Services program develops awareness of the worth and uniqueness of each individual by treating persons with respect and creating an atmosphere of growth. The staff works directly with residents and their families to meet their social, psychological, physical, and spiritual well-being and to guide them through services that are available and address concerns and questions.
We offer activities that address social, cognitive, physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being of each resident through small and large group programs, special interest activities, trips, events, and entertainment. Our Activity Director designs these events with the help of resident input as well as the surrounding community. With each of these activities we hope to make each person feel a sense of community, love, and most importantly, home.
Environmental services is more than just keeping a clean and safe environment. It is also about providing a home to our residents. Our housekeeping and laundry staff work extremely hard to make our facility look and feel like home and our maintenance staff strives to provide our residents with a sense of security and safety. We also encourage residents and families to bring their personal items to create a comfortable and happy environment.
We provide comprehensive inpatient rehabilitation care that includes occupational, speech, and physical therapies along with restorative services designed to help individuals achieve and/or maintain their highest level of functioning.
As of recently, we have also started to provide comprehensive outpatient therapy to those individuals who are seeking to maintain their highest level of functioning but do not live within our facility. These services are open to anyone in the outside community who is in need of occupational, speech, and physical therapies.
We strive to offer a therapeutic living environment for individuals diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease or other forms of dementia that is thoughtfully designed, safe, and secure. We offer creative programs that focus on functional, social and cognitive skills of each resident and create an environment of wellness and hospitality by encouraging each person's highest level of activity. Staff is selected on the basis of their training and expertise, sensitivity and understanding of the special needs of our residents.
