Just a short drive from downtown Nashville, and only 5 minutes away from the famed Loveless Cafe, Natchez Trace is a breath of fresh Tennessee air. With high ceilings, chandeliers, and warm, honeyed lighting, visitors know from the moment they walk into our country lodge that we’re anything but your typical, senior living arrangement. Providing experienced around-the-clock care and respectful assistance throughout daily activities, every resident in our small, intimate community is guaranteed our most thoughtful and undivided attention.
We like to ask those who say they’re just not quite ready for assisted living, what does ready look like? Actively participating in the newest chapters of one’s own life comes with a boost of confidence and invaluable peace. Whether it means selling your house or condo, coordinating arrangements with family, or decorating your new space, we’re here for you to simplify the process.
The Lodge community provides varying degrees of minimal assistance for seniors throughout their everyday activities. From standby to hands-on support for showers and dressing, nightly checks, and on-call transfer help, our Custom Resident Service Plans are designed to provide care according to each individual’s preferences and concerns. Other services may include support with eating, continence management, medication reminders and supervision, and encouraging socialization.
At Natchez Trace, the Lodge Country House is a unique and secure neighborhood designed just for patients with memory loss associated with Alzheimer’s Disease and other dementias. We keep a small, tightly-knit team of memory care staff and nurses to ensure residents receive care from familiar and friendly faces each and every day.
In order to thrive and live their best lives, individuals with memory loss require a level of stability that only a dependable and unwavering schedule can offer. From Monday through Sunday/seven days a week, our committed staff follows a specialized consistency program exactly as it was developed by the memory care experts. Country House residents also enjoy weekly music therapy, a time where they are able to connect with themselves and their peers through instrument play, therapeutic singing, improvised songwriting, guided movement to music, and much more.
When you choose the Lodge as your home, we not only aspire to know our residents and exceed their expectations, but we welcome each into our extended family. Perhaps the greatest testament to this is how many of our staff members have had, and still have, their own family members living here.
In our small and intimate community, friends and other visitors are welcome to stop by and see their loved ones whenever they like. In addition to our open door policy, we schedule quarterly meetings with families to update and reassess resident’s needs and care plans.
With high ceilings, chandeliers, and a country interior flushed with warm light, the Lodge is a beautiful place both inside and out. A place where families come together and where meaningful friendships are made—these are just some of the reasons why our residents love to call the Lodge home.
