Heritage Retreat Care Homes was founded by Donna O'Connor in 2009. She has a Bachelor's of Science in Biology and a Bachelor's of Science in Nursing. With her broad background in the healthcare profession, Donna has successfully set a high standard in the quality of care that Heritage Retreat Care Homes provides to its residents.
Donna did a lot of volunteer and mission work growing up and her passion to help other people has paved the way to her success in operating and managing the Heritage Retreat Care Homes facilities. Since opening the business she has established an excellent reputation in the community and other assisted living facilities, nursing home facilities, health care agencies, physicians and even hospitals trust her enough to refer residents directly. They recognize her compassion and commitment to her work.
Heritage Retreat Care Homes operates small assisted living facilities in a home setting that provides a clean and safe environment with assistance to daily living for the elderly and with disability. We are committed to provide an individualized high quality of care and assistance to promote our residents' well-being.
Heritage Retreat Care Homes has locations in Kingwood and Atascocita. Each care home has private rooms and shared rooms of up to 2 residents. All our care homes are handicapped accessible, equipped with monitoring system, fire alarm and sprinkler systems. Our care homes are carefully chosen to provide a safe and peaceful environment and strategically located near hospitals, fire and police stations.
All Heritage Retreat Care Homes are licensed by the Texas Department of Aging and Disability Services. We have both the assisted living facilities and the Memory Care unit that only cater to a small group of up to 16 residents.

Both our assisted living facilities and Memory Care unit have a ratio of one (1) personal care attendant to up to four (4) residents.
