Estia Care is an engaging assisted living community in Humble, Texas. It is within perfect Harris County which is part of the Lone Star State.
At Estia Care, LLC, it is our goal, to help our clients achieve the best quality of life possible. Our Company is Owned and Operated by a Licensed Nurse with 34 years in the Medical Profession. We understand that one solution does not fit every situation, so we take the time to listen and learn about each client's needs and preferences. This enables us to tailor a care program that maximizes the client's independence and dignity.
Understandably, most seniors prefer to stay in the familiar comfort of their homes. Our mission is to maintain a residential environment, with the coziness of home, for easy transition. We can arrange for medical visits from Registered Nurses, Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Social Workers and Physicians.
Our goal is to provide the best care possible while over seeing all our Residents needs and give them the quality care they deserve. We provide 2-3 Staff members Per 9 Residents, which allows for excellent time management to meet our Residents needs. A Residential Home sets the environment to truly call home vs our Seniors residing in a Large Assisted Living Facility or Nursing Home. We understand the effects of our economy and the necessity for families to work to support their families. The need for Senior Care has reached an all time high. Our Senior Population has increased due to Baby Boomers coming of Senior age and an increase of Life Span due to Medical Technology. Estia Care was organized to aid our Community during these trying times and to aid our families with better care of their loved ones with more cost effectiveness.
Our Mission
To provide the best care possible in all aspects and areas of daily living. We provide a beautiful home with comforting surroundings, as well as over seeing Health & Wellness. We want our families to feel at peace with their decision to accept our help with their loved ones. We understand the challenges and emotional attachments involved with caring for our family. We want the families of our Residents to understand, though we are a Licensed Facility, Small, Type B, we are a Residential Home. Our environment is much different than that of a Large Facility. We provide a Home with 24/7 Supervision. Our home is under 24/7 surveillance, utilizing motion sensors and other monitoring devices for the safety of our Residents. Our staff are hourly, working shifts and awake 24/7. We are accepting the responsibility of caring for your loved one, so you may relax and enjoy your time together. Our mission is for you to have peace of mind while maintaining your own home and well being.
Our Vision
Being a Home Health Nurse, I go into Personal Care Homes and Assisted Living Facilities on a daily basis. There are many beautiful facilities with tons of activities for those who are active and able to partake. A Personal Care Home is more appropriate for those who may have greater needs and require more assistance. Large Assisted Living Facilities are mostly based on independent living and for those who may require no or little assistance. What they do provide, usually comes with a very high cost. I believe, Personal Care Homes are definitely a good alternative and the best choice, when there has been a decline in independence.
There are a few Personal Care Homes in our area, that do provide good personal care and a clean environment. Based on my experience, many Personal Care Homes are lacking in Medical knowledge.
This is where my homes are different and provide better care. With my medical background and strict philosophy on providing care to our seniors, our home not only provides an upscale environment but can meet all medical needs. My provisions for our homes will exceed the Standards of Practice with DADS. It is of vital importance to us, that all of our staff are well trained and knowledgeable of medical conditions, Signs & Symptoms to report, medications and nutrition. It is a requirement that all staff have previous experience and will take part in continual education, certifications, CPR, Life Safety Training, First Aid and Disaster Planning. All staff undergo drug testing and background checks. We hire only the best Caregivers to ensure the best quality of care.
We understand the difficulties of caring for our loved ones and the heart break of possible placement in a Nursing Home. Our goal and vision is to assist families with possible alternative solutions. Our Personal Care Home can meet your needs while maintaining a lovely home environment.
