We understand that some people may need our services just for a short amount of time in some occasions. At Crossroads, residents have the option to stay for one day or one month if they need.
Residents can opt to be seen and cared for by the facility’s visiting Medical Doctor in the comfort of their own accommodations. In addition, medications prescribed can be delivered to the facility free of charge. Should the resident require intermediate skilled care, they are able to contract with a third party to provide skilled nursing care or physical therapy. Residents can also elect to attend an adult day care center in our community.
Crossroads Assisted Living has available activities designed to nurture the mental, physical, spiritual and social aspects of the residents. This is done with the goal of strengthening relationships, providing mental stimulation, building confidence and trust, increase physical health and reduce stress.
The facility calendar provides structured social activities for the enjoyment of our residents, such as board games, wellness classes or movie viewings. Additionally, the facility utilizes the common living areas or café areas for casual social activity and crafts. Most residents can also choose to engage in activities off-site, such as mall-walking or theater outings, for which group transportation is provided by the facility.
Structured days are happier days! Most people are happier when they have planned activities to do each day. We truly believe it is incredibly beneficial that our residents feel like they are doing something constructive and worthwhile, so they stay busy and enjoying life.
Social interaction plays a crucial role in the quality of life of Crossroads residents. Activities foster socialization with peers and discovering new friends through group interactions is a great benefit. We are all a big family in here!
