Your comfort is important, so we ve furnished and decorated our community so it will feel like home. You can relax with a book by the fireplace in the library or visit with friends and family on the mezzanine sitting area. The lower-level lobby has another sitting area, a fireplace and a fish tank one of three in our community.
Our two-story senior living community offers nearly 80 apartments, including studios, alcoves and one-bedrooms. All of our apartments include a kitchenette with sink, refrigerator and cabinets; private wheelchair-accessible bathroom with a shower; and large windows to allow in abundant natural light. Some apartments have views of Sikes Lake, where our residents often enjoy strolling along its one-mile walking path. Do you have a beloved four-legged friend? Bring it along; pets are welcome here.
Our memory care residents participate in brain games, fitness activities and outings while participating in a daily music program, crafts and singing all carefully designed to provide them with a sense of purpose, meaning and belonging, even with advanced expressions of the disease.
You can use the private dining room for your family s gatherings, birthday parties or other special events. Our main dining room features floor-to-ceiling windows that look out onto the lake and to a patio area with tables, chairs and umbrellas. We also have our own in-house beauty salon open three to four days a week.
Our assisted living lifestyle provides all the independence you want and a helping hand when you need it. We can get you started, perhaps in bathing, dressing or managing medications. Then we step out of the way of your daily living.
If a resident ever should need a deeper level of assistance, it s an easy transition into our our Alzheimer s and dementia care, called the Clare Bridge program. Deeply rooted in a person-centered approach, Clare Bridge makes sure each resident is surrounded by others with the same cognitive abilities so they feel like they fit in. The program focuses on sustaining feelings of belonging, purpose and safety while seeking to preserve a sense of self. The Clare Bridge Daily Path provides residents with a structured, yet fun, routine of activities discussions for mental workouts, dancing for physical exercise that help maintain their abilities and encourage the use of their current skills, even if their dementia is advanced.
