At Mary Marshall, we’re a cheerful, supportive community for older adults with intellectual disabilities or mental illness – a welcoming place your loved one will be happy to call home.
In partnership with Arlington County Department of Health and Human Services, we offer assisted living personal care and services for adults aged 55 and older with cognitive disabilities and special needs who also qualify as low income individuals.
Assisted living programs like Mary Marshall allow people with intellectual disabilities to live longer, healthier, more fulfilling lives. Mary Marshall, staff professionals are specially trained to care for older adults with special needs, and assist them with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming and more. Compassion, empathy and personal attention are at the core of how we help residents feel safe and cherished as they age, and meet unique challenges faced by people with special needs.
We’re dedicated to helping Mary Marshall residents live each day as they choose, helping them focus on their strengths, and build on personal assets, interests and desires. Our approach to care grows out of respect for the human spirit, and the belief that the right to dignity doesn’t diminish with age.
